A ceramic figurine inspired by the Disney Studios animated film "Bambi" (1942). Featuring Thumper sprawled out after falling on the ice, the figure was produced by Goebel in the 1950s. Due to the success of Goebel's prolific M.I Hummel line, Walt Disney granted the company a license in 1952 to begin producing ceramics based on the Studios beloved characters. Measuring 5”x2.5” and 2.75” tall, Thumper is in very good condition.
